Protest: $230M VA/DoD Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Award

G2X TAKE: A protest filed this week highlights the already fierce level of competition that has taken place for this recently awarded 58-month $230M contract to help advance the ongoing implementation, sustainment, and enhancement of TAP and ensure Servicemembers and their families have the necessary tools and information to seamlessly transition into civilian life.

CALIBRE Systems, Inc, one of 9 bidders who was in the running for this contract out of the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Office of Transition and Economic Impact (TEI) for support of the Military’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP), filed an official protest with GAO this week. Details as to the rationale for the challenge have not been released at this time.

Booz Allen was announced as the awardee early this month. The full solicitation can be found here. GAO has listed a due date of September 30, 2017 for resolution of this protest
